Mason's 2 Year Old Check-up

I took Mason in for his checkup yesterday. He actually made it on the chart this time for his weight. He is now 23 lbs which puts him in the 5th percentage. He also had a huge growth spurt which landed him at 75 percent being 34 inches tall. Last time he was only 25 percent for his height. He is just like Kaylee. She is our Green Bean!

The doctor was also really impressed with how smart he is. Mason was able to hold a conversation with the doctor. I was told that most kids can't do that until closer to 3 years old. Especially with strangers. Mason can speak 150 to 200 words that are understandable. He tries really hard to count and has a few colors and shapes learned.

We are to work with him on potty training, colors, shapes and he should be speaking 300 to 400 words by his 3 year old appointment. With the way he is going now, he should be able to conquer and surpass the doctor's list in the year time frame. Just hopefully sooner than later on the potty training!
